How to solve a 3×3 Rubik’s Cube as a beginner

You do not need 57 OLL algs. Cube Resolver’s Beginner path teaches a layer-by-layer solve first, then you can move to full CFOP once you can finish the cube.

1. The 7-step order

Each step is its own page with a 3D viewer:

1. CFOP overview — Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL.
2. Notation — F R U L D B and ' / 2.
3. Cross — four white edges matched to side centers.
4. Layer 1 corners — the sexy move R U R' U'.
5. Layer 2 — insert the four middle edges.
6. Yellow face — 2-look OLL (cross, then corners).
7. Finish the cube — 2-look PLL (corners, then edges).

2. How is this different from full CFOP?

Speedcubers pair a corner+edge at once with F2L. Beginners on this app learn layer 1, then layer 2 so cases are easier to see. Once you can solve, open Cross and F2L from the home page to train real CFOP.
