Practice XCross · Solve XCross on Cube Resolver

XCross is a Cross with one F2L pair already inserted. Cube Resolver finds a sequence (≤10 moves), shows the inserted slot, and plays it on a 3D cube — so you can practice XCross and solve XCross from real WCA scrambles.

XCross vs Cross vs Cross + 1 F2L

• Cross — only the four D-face edges (≤8 QTM moves).
• Cross + 1 F2L — pick a cross that makes the first F2L slot easy; the pair may only be paired on U, not inserted.
• XCross — one sequence: Cross done and one pair inserted (1×1×2 block).

How to train

1. Open the XCross solver.
2. New WCA scramble, or paste one from a timer.
3. Auto color vs a pinned contest color.
4. Read length + slot, then play the 3D demo.
5. Hide hints, inspect for 15s, compare with the tool.

Not every scramble has an XCross within 10 moves. Fall back to Cross or F2L + lookahead practice.
